The study bank app can be used to allow a student to take short quizzes based on specific topics in that course.
IMPORTANT: You must have a topic structure configured for the Study Bank to work. Students will select topics to build their quizzes.
Topic Configuration

Select Topics from the course menu.

If the curriculum for your course is already built, click Compare with Curriculum to use it for your topic structure.

Then, ensure all topics you want included in the Study Bank are selected. Unselect any activities that shouldn't be used to create a topic.

Click Preview Syncto view the proposed topic structure.

If no change are needed, click Apply Sync.

Now that all topics are created and linked to activities, you can assign questions to each topic by clicking on the edit icon.

Use the search bar or filters to find the questions you wish to assign to the topic. Select the questions using the checkboxes and click Assign to Topic
Study Bank Configuration
- Install the Study Bank and Performance apps from the course Settings. The Study Bank app makes the question bank available to students in the course menu and the Performance app gives them detailed reporting on their quiz sessions.
- Click Add Shortcut when prompted.
- Select Study Bank from the course menu.
- Use the filters to find questions from each topic. Then, select the questions using the checkboxes and click Assign to Study Bank.
- Lastly, you can enable the Calculator or Strikethrough options for students to use by selecting Study Settings from the drawer on the right of the screen.
IMPORTANT: After configuring your study bank, it is highly recommended that you log in as a student and ensure the experience is working as desired. A misconfiguration could result in a broken experience for students.
