SCORM packages can be added to the curriculum as part of the learning path. Students can view the SCORM package in the default viewer or full-screen mode.
Follow the steps below to add a SCORM activity to the curriculum:
- Navigate to the course you wish to build and select Curriculum from the course navigation.
- Click the + below the list of Curriculum items to add a new activity to the end of the course. Use the + to the right of the list of Curriculum items to add a new activity below the currently selected item or within the current section. Then, select SCORM from the available activities menu.
- Double-click the new SCORM activity to edit it.
- Click the Choose File button to upload your SCORM package.
- Specify a maximum width and height if needed. We recommended that you test the activity as a student to determine if maximum widths and heights are necessary.
- Add a title for the new SCORM activity. You can also add an optional introduction and estimated completion time.
- When finished, click Save and publish your activity.
A mix of SCORM and native Acadio activities/features (reading, video, quizzes, flashcards, community discussions, etc.) can greatly enhance student experiences compared to using SCORM activities exclusively.
TIP: To ensure the best experience, please be sure to create activity endpoints within each of your SCORM files. Doing so allows Acadio to see completion and track course progress.
