Releases allow you to batch-publish content changes (versions) at a scheduled date and time. Any content on Acadio can be scheduled for publication using a release, including curriculum activities, questions, and flashcards. This functionality is especially helpful for courses that require annual updates. Select Releases from the course menu to view both upcoming and past releases

Please note that changes published in a release become available to all learners with access to the course at the scheduled date and time.

Follow the steps below to assign changes to a release:

  1. When editing an activity, question, or flashcard, click the Publish button.
  2. Select Assign to Future Release.

  3. Select an existing release from the drop-down or click Create Release to configure a new release. When creating a new release, enter a name in the Release Name field and click into the Release Date field to select a date and time for publication. Then, click Save
  4. After assigning the version to a release or creating a new release, click Save.
 

IMPORTANT: Admins who contributed to a scheduled release will receive email notifications 2 weeks and 72 hours prior to publication.
