Each course can be tailored with apps to enhance functionality for both admins and students. Features like flashcards, the study bank, reporting, the community, and more can be added or removed through Course Settings > Apps.

Available course apps

Flashcards – Both admins and students can create flashcards to support active recall and practice. Admins can publish sets for all students, while students can build their own personalized decks as they study. Flashcards can be created and accessed directly from the drawer within learning activities.

Community – The Community tool fosters content-focused discussions across the platform. Students can ask questions, exchange insights, and engage with course material, peers, and instructors. Discussions can be launched and viewed from the activity drawer, keeping collaboration close to the learning experience.

Study Bank – Lets students drill questions and build custom study sessions by topic, question count, and more. The study bank also includes the Opportunities Target, a visual snapshot of student strengths and weaknesses to guide focused learning.

Performance – Provides detailed analytics by topic, including the total number of questions answered, accuracy rates, and breakdowns of correct vs. incorrect responses—helping students and instructors track progress at a glance.

Videos – Automatically compiles all video activities from the curriculum into a centralized video library, accessible anytime from the course menu.

Textbook – Collects all book activities into an easy-to-use eBook format, available from the course menu for quick reference and review.

Surveys – Share surveys across multiple courses while keeping responses separate. This allows for streamlined data collection without cross-course overlap.

Certificate – Available in certifiable courses, this app enables the creation of course-specific certificates, replacing the default platform design. Certificates can be customized and issued automatically upon course completion.

Organizations – Also available in certifiable courses, this app enables reporting of completions to organizations or regulators. It also supports organization-specific certificates and custom student data collection, ensuring regulator compliance.

Submissions – Provides admins with a dedicated area to review uploads, essay responses, and feedback, while giving students a space to track the status of their submissions and respond to feedback. Admins can leave comments, and approve or reject submissions directly from this area.

Gradebook – This app enables admins to assign scores to curriculum activities and adjust student scores as needed.
