Course features such as flashcards, study bank, reporting, community, and more can be added or removed from Course Settings>Apps

Below is a list of apps that can be added to a course:

  • Flashcards - This allows admins and students to create flashcards. Admins can create flashcards and make them available to all students, and students can add their own flashcards as they study. Flashcards can be created and viewed from the drawer in learning activities.
  • Community - The Community tool allows for content-centered discussions throughout the platform. It allows students to ask questions while providing a way to engage with the course material, other students, and instructors. Community discussions can be created and viewed from the drawer in learning activities.
  • Study Bank - This tool enables students to drill questions and build custom sessions based on topics, number of questions, and more. The study bank also enables the Opportunities Target, a visual representation of a student's strengths and weaknesses.
  • Performance - Shows detailed performance by topic, including total number of questions answered, correct, incorrect, and accuracy.
  • Videos - This component compiles all video activities from the curriculum into a library that students can access from the course menu.
  • Textbook - The Textbook tool compiles all book activities from the curriculum into an e-book format that students can access from the course menu.
  • Surveys - The Surveys tool allows for sharing surveys across courses while keeping the responses isolated.
  • Certificate - This app is only available in certifiable courses. It allows course-specific certificates rather than the default platform certificates to be issued upon completion.
  • Organizations - This app is only available in certifiable courses. Activating it enables the reporting of course completions to an organization or regulator. The app also allows organization-specific certificates and student data collection.
