The WYSIWYG editor accommodates many different style variations and options. However, to achieve a specific, desired appearance, you may need to utilize a custom CSS style. Saving a frequently used style can also save you substantial time when formatting large volumes of content.
Follow the steps below to create custom CSS in the Acadio WYSIWYG editor:
- Within any book activity or editable text field that displays the editor, click into the content area as usual to make an edit.
- Select the Edit menu and click Custom Styles.
- Next, fill in the Style Name and paste in your CSS code.
- Click the Save Style button.
- Click the Update Editor button to refresh the list of available styles with your new custom CSS. Then, close the window.
- Test your newly created style by highlighting an area of the book, clicking Style>Formats>Custom, and choosing your new style.
