The WYSIWYG editor supports a wide range of style variations and options. For more precise control over appearance, you may need to apply custom CSS. Saving frequently used styles can also streamline your workflow and save significant time when formatting large amounts of content.

Follow the steps below to create custom CSS in the Acadio WYSIWYG editor:

  1. Within any book activity or editable text field that displays the editor, click into the content area as usual to make an edit.

  2. Select the Edit menu and click Custom Styles

  3. Next, fill in the Style Name and paste in your CSS code.

  4. Click the Save Style button.

  5. Click the Update Editor button to refresh the list of available styles with your new custom CSS. Then, close the window.

  6. Test your newly created style by highlighting an area of the book, clicking Style>Formats>Custom, and choosing your new style.
