Use the Listing Configuration to control which course details are displayed. Changes to the listing configuration will be reflected in the preview to the left of the options.

Catalog filters

Catalog filters help students find courses based on specific criteria. For example, using "difficulty" as a filter might allow students to narrow down the available courses based on their difficulty level, such as beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Another example might be "# of credit hours," which would allow students to find courses that meet their specific hourly continuing education requirements.

Follow the steps below to configure the platform's catalog filters:

  1. Click the Create Filter button.
  2. Double-click the field that says "New Filter" to rename it. This should be a broad category like the examples above.
  3. Double-click the field labeled "Criteria" to rename it. The renamed field should contain a specific characteristic, such as a difficulty level or number of credit hours.
  4. Click the + button to the right of the filter to add more criteria. Click the + button to the right of the criteria to add sub-criteria.

  5. Once the catalog filters have been configured for the platform, you can begin adding courses to each filter. To do this, navigate to a course and select Settings from the course navigation. Then, click the Catalog Listing tab. Select the filters from Catalog Filter Criteria that correspond to the course.
  6. When finished, click Save. Repeat this process for each course.
